Consider a Proclamation of the Board of County Commissioners proclaiming March 3-9, 2025, as Flood Awareness Week in Nassau County.

 

CONSENT ITEMS – If any board member wishes to move a Consent Item to New Business, please do so now. Does any member of the public want to speak on a Consent Item?

 

B.

Approve and authorize Finance Package 2025-10 and associated Resolutions.

 

C.

Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute CM3335-WA03 with WSB, LLC in the amount of $111,366.75 for Pavement Overlay Construction Engineering and Inspection Services.

 

D.

Award Invitation to Bid NC24-024 to CGC, Inc. and Approve and Authorize the Chairman to sign CM3854 with CGC, Inc. for the Construction of Amelia Island Parkway Trail Segment 3 (South 14th Street to Bailey Road) and Segment 4 (Bailey Road to 8th Street) in the amount of $2,797,747.

E.

Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Grant of Easement from property owners Kenneth F. Freeman and Zachary Scott Mellin described in the Official Records Book 2642, Page 593 and approve the Road Department to maintain the drainage easement.

Consider a Resolution which approves and authorizes a maintenance map for a portion of Clyde Higginbotham Road, Yulee.

 

G.

Accept completion of Amelia Concourse extension as part of Concourse Crossing Phase 3, and accept 26-month maintenance bond

 

QUASI-JUDICIAL PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

H.

Consider R24-005, the rezoning of a portion of approximately 6.59-acres, located on the east side of First Coast Highway, between Spring Tide Lane and Stewart Avenue, from Residential Single Family 2 (RS-2) and Commercial, General (CG) to Residential, General (RG-1) and Commercial, General (CG). Application filed by Norman Showers Trust, MPS Properties LLC, and Leslie Pardue Cubbage, Owners and Janis K. Fleet, Agent. District 2.  A continuance of this item is requested to March 24, 2025.
